03Purposes and legal bases
- Answering contact requests (players, clubs, partners) — pre-contractual measures and the agency’s legitimate interest in handling requests addressed to it (Article 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
- Reviewing profiles submitted via “Join FMLP” and contacting the player or their legal guardian — consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), collected through a tick box before sending, which may be withdrawn at any time.
- Securing the website and forms (spam and abuse prevention) — legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
04Recipients and service providers
Data is accessible only to authorised FMLP MANAGEMENT staff. Applications, and in particular those of minors, can only be viewed by the agency’s administrators. They are never sold or rented.
A profile is only shared with a club or a partner professional with the prior consent of the player (or their legal guardian). When a sports agent contract is signed, it is sent with the required documents (including the player’s identity document) to the French Football Federation, as required by the French Sports Code and its regulations.

No transfer of data outside the European Union is planned. Should a service provider do so, it would only be with appropriate safeguards within the meaning of Articles 44 et seq. GDPR.
05Retention periods
- Contact messages and applications, including attached documents: three years at most from your last contact, then deleted.
- If a contractual relationship is entered into, the necessary data is kept for the duration of the relationship and then for the applicable statutory periods.
- Cookie choices: 6 months.
06Minors
The “Join FMLP” form asks whether the player is a minor. If so, the identity, contact details and consent of the legal guardian are mandatory; the legal guardian becomes the agency’s point of contact and receives a copy of the acknowledgement. Access to minors’ data is restricted to administrators.
If you are under fifteen, any consent requested on this website must be given jointly with the holder(s) of parental authority (Article 45 of French Law No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978).
07Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
To exercise these rights, write to agent@fmlp-management.fr. You will receive a reply within one month. You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).
08Security
The website is served over HTTPS. Forms are protected against automated submissions; files are checked (actual type and size) and stored outside any public area, accessible only to authenticated administrators. Admin passwords are hashed and repeated login attempts are blocked. Regular backups are made.
